For this sketch I decided to make a tapas dinner for my three little ones. As my husband headed off to work, my daughter Kaytlin helped me create a meat, cheese, cracker and dessert board for their dinner (hey anything to get them to eat). We added three types of meat, two cheeses, some crackers and a honey and sugar glazed M&M and nuts just toned on a sweet tooth. You would be surprised that the meat and cheese were the first to go. They sure do love their pepperoni and cheese.
After I finished with the final touches I took it into my studio and put it on my crafts table (one my hubby made me a few years back) and opened the window shades to bring some side light in on one side while placing my Einstein filtered with a PLM raised by the tripod and angled 45 degrees down facing the food. I pumped up the light and opening my lens to F-Stop 18 and 125 ss and ISO 100. I was shooting with a 50 mm so some of the images are cropped to get closer to the food.

Bon appetit kids…
